Janus reflecting

In looking forward or in looking back,
We dream of what might, or might not have been.
We dream of what should, or should not have been.
We, like Janus, reflect upon the two sides of the coin.
Some say, what is the point of the dream,
The dream has no substance, it has no sense.
But like a child on a rainy day,
We dream of having fun in the Sun.
We dream of travelling far into the stars.
Dreamings are imaginings,
All things are imaginings.
From where came the Prayer,
Except from the world full of imaginings.
All the paintings that came from Leonardo, Michaelangelo and Picasso,
All the inventions that came from Edison or Stephenson,
Where did they come from?
Out of that void full of imaginings!
Music, poems, art and science, they are all just imaginings.
What has Man learnt?
Those who grip reality as though it were truth, feel spurned.
What is truth?
Only a dream with a pompous name.
What is perception?
Only a nail that crucifies a dream.
